Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at Landhaus Engadin, we experienced a mix of family-friendly amenities and stark realities. The ski bus proved to be a convenient connection to the Reschenpass ski area, which our children loved, particularly the versatile slopes suitable for ages 2 to 14. Our experience was somewhat overshadowed by misleading pricing and hidden costs. While the apartment was advertised to feature a fireplace, we learned upon arrival that its use was prohibited. Strange choices like one roll of inexpensive toilet paper for the week and the lack of basic essentials, such as salt and dishwashing fluid, added to our frustrations. The morning bread service had its hiccups; we ordered five rolls but often received only three, causing us to rethink our breakfast plans. Although there was a variety of activities available for children, the antiquated small TV and the worn towels left us wanting more. In essence, while Landhaus Engadin has the potential to be a great family destination, clarity and attention to basic comforts could significantly enhance the experience.
